The heroes venture into a dimly lit passageway, and as they enter hear a noise not unlike a pickaxe against rock. Walking forth a Dwarf bursts through the wall, Hodor Bearmangler has joined the party.
Exploring a little further the adventurers discover a large cavern which seems to have been dug out, many platforms of raised floor remain, but the ground around them has been dug down at least ten feet or more.
The party explores a little bit more and discovers a number of Goblins and Drakes seeking treasure in the excavated room, but they quickly notice the explorers and attack them.
A battle ensued with the heroes as the victors, and the only treasure discovered: A Holy Symbol of Bahamut.
The adventurers decide to take an extended rest for the next day, and recuperate and reorganize. Ready to venture even deeper into the keep on their quest.

Day 07 - Cheiftan's Lair
After exiting the Torture Chamber, the party heads into an adjacent area of the keep, they can hear the chatter of some drunk Goblins.
As they round a corner a duo of drunk Goblins sit drinking and eating at a table, one of them is poked by Jokun, as another is taken out by Nhoj in one fell swoop!
A scream is heard, a half naked woman with straps tied to her arms and legs has been held captive somewhere nearby, Kaede introducers herself to the party, and rescuers.
The now expanded party continues to explore the area, opening a door to reveal a room filled with Goblin Cutters and a Goblin Warrior. A fight ensues, Kaede casts a spell, and with a flash of light kills a number of Goblins instantly, the rest of the party join the melee and are victorious, just as the Goblins managed to sound the alarm and even more Goblin Cutters arrive in the hallway outside the room they are in.
The party now fierce with fighting prowess due to their success easily dispatches the rest of the Goblins, but another door is opened. Two Goblin Warriors and another more 'profound' Goblin appear before them, Balgron the Fat.
The party dispatches the two Goblin Warriors, and strike Balgron to his knees, at which point he pleads for his life in exchange for a key that will open his chest of personal treasures. The party ignores his plea, and executes him. Taking the key for themselves regardless.
They open the chest and are rewarded with an amount of gold and a magic wand.

Day 06 - Torture Chamber
Ronald decides to sleep off the battle from the previous day, upturning one of the Goblin's beds and using it for himself. Amerike keeps Esellte company at the camp outside the dungeon.
Jokun, Songfey, Nhoj and Yotisot venture further into the depths.
The party begins by examining their surroundings for hidden features or traps, they find none. They explore a small room containing boxes, and after a few attempts at smashing them open discover numerous rations to take along on their journey.
A door is flung open by one of the adventurers, revealing a horrid torture chamber! A number of Goblin Sharpshooters, a Goblin Warrior and a Hobgoblin (clearly the ring leader) charge at the party.
A vicious and tense battle is fought, but the adventurers are victorious! Songfey runs over to the new corpse of the hobgoblin and steals his armour, much to Nhoj's protests.
They discover a Goblin who has been locked in a cell for who knows how long, Splug. He offers to help the adventurers if they free him from his confinement, Songfey obliges by picking the lock to his cell.
After clearing the torture chamber of enemy creatures, they venture even deeper into the dungeon.

Day 05 - The Keep Entrance
Whilst Amerike and Nhoj decided to sleep off their injuries from the previous day outside the keep, Jokun and Yotisot decided to begin their descent into its depths.
Yotisot ventured forth first, tying his beloved Esellte outside and providing her with a lettuce to eat.
As they approached, a dagger was flung in Yotisot's direction, quickly revealing that their companion Ronald had escaped the stocks of Winterhaven and caught up with them.
The trio then entered the dungeon, with Ronald falling down the stairs. This alerted the presence of intruders to the Goblins within. A few girly screams were heard, which the adventurers found odd.
Not soon after, a Goblin came charging at them, but as it rounded a corner an unknown adventurer bursted out of the shadows intercepting him. A new companion had arrived, Songfey.
The adventurers banded together to defeat their foe as Jokun collapsed into a pit filled with a hungry pack of rats, luckily he hastily climbed out of the pit to safety.
After the defeat of the Goblin, Yotisot ventured off by himself to explore one arm of the entrance to The Keep, finding himself by a thick woven curtain, behind which he discovered another Goblin in waiting.
The other adventurers, Jokun, Ronald and Songfey ventured down a different hallway and discovered some freshly awoken Goblins, much to the Goblin's surprise. A few attempts at communication failed and the negotiations soon deteriorated into combat.
A quick and brutal battle was fought, with Jokun and Ronald scoring some mighty blows to their Goblin foes.
With the adventurers victorious, they continued to explore the entrance to The Keep, eventually discovering The Book of Keegan entombed in one of the Goblin's beds.
After a brief rest they ventured further into the depths of The Keep.

Day 04 - The Coming of Nhoj
Jokun, Amerike, and Yotisot began their day awakening at the Inn. Ronald who had decided to sleep outside has been captured by the town guard and placed in the stocks for disregarding their instructions to not sleep outside.
After exiting their rooms, a strange knocking was heard. Upon investigation, Jokun, Amerike and Yotisot discovered a Dwarf, Nhoj inside a cupboard. Invited to join the adventurers, he obliged and was now part of the party.
They ventured downstairs and conversed with the Innkeeper Wrafton, and also an unnamed Dwarf in the corner who gave them some information about a vial that Yotisot had discovered, a potion of invisibility.
Inkeeper Wrafton told the adventurers that she had a problem with a rat in the cellar, and could not open for business until it was removed. They ventured forth, weapons drawn into the darkness of the Winterhaven Inn cellar, and defeated their foe. Rewarded with free breakfast and a map of Winterhaven.

The adventurers then left the Inn and headed to speak with Scholar Parle at the temple, who gave them the quest of creating a map of an old ruined fortress near Winterhaven. But they would need the key to the fortress from the temple catacombs.
Entering the catacombs they were presented with a puzzle of runed tiles to solve, a number of incorrect activations resulted in dire rats and a skeleton attacking the party. With their foes defeated and the puzzle solved, they retrieved the key to the ruined fortress and exited the catacombs.
Heading east out of Winterhaven the party was ambushed by a number of Kobolds. It was a tense battle, with Yotisot and Amerike coming close to defeat, but the adventurers prevailed. Finding a necklace on a Kobold priest, which they discovered to be a religious artifact that may be of some use to them.
Esellte also returned after hearing the battle cries of her known companions, Yotisot managed to calm and befriend her into joining them on their quest to the ruined fortress.
The adventurers camped for the evening, weary from battle, and ready to march on the next day.

Day 03 - Winterhaven Arrival
The party was
attacked by Goblins trying to chase them out of their cave, en route to
Winterhaven. The horse Esellte showing up for a time also seeking more food from Yotisot.

Jozun began by pickpocketing a guard at the gate, receiving a rusty spoon for his trouble, whilst Amerike sweet talked his way into town.
Eventually everyone arrived at the Winterhaven Inn. Ronald attempted to sweet talk the innkeeper, whilst the other party members tried to learn what they could of the town. Eventually learning from one of the town farmers, Eilian, about a scholar named Parle at the Temple who may have a use for them.
Everyone settled in for the night, Jokun, Yotisot and Amerike deciding to rent rooms at the inn for the evening, and Ronald electing to sleep under a tree outside, against the wishes of the town guard.

Day 02 - New Companions
After defeating their enemies in the first area of the Goblin hideaway, the adventurers stumbled upon another companion, Ronald.
Ronald was eager to cause trouble amongst the party, insulting and blackmailing Yotisot for gold and information.
Exploring deeper into the Goblin hideaway the trio discovered a number of large rats with nasty bites. Eventually culminating in Ronald using Yotisot as a weapon himself by picking him up and throwing him at the rats.
The adventurers also discovered a large pit trap, luckily nobody fell in, and also a statue with a strange warning written in Dwarvish, which was translated by Roland after some "careful" convincing by Yotisot and Jokun.
The party sensing that they may need to end their search for their companions chest for now, and head back to Winterhaven to seek information.

Day 01 - Walking Home
The party of Jokun and Yotisot were travelling home with a companion, when their wagon was attacked by Goblins. They managed to fight them off, but their companion lost a chest of goods which was of some import to him.
Jokun and Yotisot vowed to collect their unnamed companions chest by venturing into a Goblin hideaway not too far from their present position.
After combating some Kobolds and Wolves outside the entrance to the hideaway, they began their journey underground.
Encountering a number of Kobolds, all of which they found to be hostile, Jokun released a Drake from his prison. Lacking in any verbal language, Jokun had to resort to hand signals to communicate with the creature, who eventually helped them and led them to a small stash of gold.
Meanwhile Yotisot stumbled upon a horse, soon named Esselte. After many attempts to befriend the horse, Yotisot was successful and enjoyed riding him about the Goblin hideaway.
